Here at Mons-Iter guiding, our mission is quite simple. To provide you and your family/friends, tours that are as enlightening as much as they are unforgettable. Blending together: natural history, geology, wildlife, ecology, foraging, astrology, and thermal activity - to create meaningful moments. We guide with precision, responsibility, and heart. You and Yellowstone deserve nothing less.

Kaitlyn Butler - Admin
Hey there! I’m Kaitlyn, Chris’ “better half.” Never once when I met Chris did I think I’d end up in Yellowstone administrating a guiding company 😮! However, after seeing how much fire Chris has for this area, it lit something in myself. I moved here and never looked back. We all share such a love for getting people outdoors and sharing what we know about this incredible place! When I’m not coordinating for this, I’m “admining” as COO Mommy for our little one.
Chris Butler - Guide
Hello all, my name is Chris Butler and its great to “meet” you 😁. My passion and love for Yellowstone is unmatched, especially when exploring the hidden trails and spotting elusive wildlife. I’ve lived and guided here in West Yellowstone since 2018 year-round. My favorite hobbies are: spending time with my son, hiking new and unexplored trails, kayaking with my family, and climbing mountains on my snowmobile. I hope to see you soon!
